Terms of service

These terms apply when you use siteplantoday.com or order a plan from us. SitePlanToday is a service of Williams Engineering, Inc., a Tennessee company ("we", "us"). When you place an order, you agree to these terms.

1. What we provide

We prepare site plans, floor plans and elevation plans from public records and from the information and files you send us. We deliver the plans by email as digital files.

2. What our plans are not

• Not a boundary survey. We do not measure the property in the field. Property lines come from public parcel maps, which can differ from the true lines.
• Not certified or sealed. Our plans do not carry the seal or stamp of a professional engineer, architect or land surveyor.
• Not a design. We draw what exists and what you tell us you plan to build. We do not design structures, drainage or utilities as part of this service.

Do not use our plans to set a fence on a lot line, to settle a boundary question, or for any purpose that needs a survey or a sealed plan. For that work, hire a licensed surveyor or engineer. Williams Engineering, Inc. can quote engineering work separately.

3. Your responsibilities

• Check the rules of your local permit office, HOA and any other authority before you order and before you build. Each office decides what it accepts.
• Give us correct information: the right address, accurate measurements and a true description of your project.
• Review the plan when you receive it, and tell us about any error.
• Send only files that you have the right to share.

4. Accuracy of public data

We use official public data, such as county GIS records and FEMA flood maps. That data can be out of date or contain errors. We check each plan, but we are not responsible for errors in public records or in information you give us.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown on the pricing page and on the order page. You pay the total shown before we start work. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number.

6. Delivery

Standard delivery is within 24 hours. Rush delivery times are shown when you order. Delivery time starts when we have your payment. If we need more information, we ask you by email.

7. Revisions, refunds and guarantee

Our refund and revision policy and our guarantee are part of these terms.

8. Use of the plans

When you pay, you may copy and use the plans for your project, your permit applications, your HOA and the sale or lease of the property. We keep the copyright in our drawings. We may use plans as examples only after we remove the address, the owner and other details that identify the property.

9. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect losses, such as delays to a project, lost profits or the cost of a survey or redesign.

10. Governing law

The laws of the State of Tennessee apply to these terms. Any dispute goes to the courts in Davidson County, Tennessee.

11. Changes to these terms

We can change these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the last change. The terms in effect when you place an order apply to that order.
